The Falcons’ third round pick – tackle Lamar Holmes – has what has been dubbed a minor left foot injury. As a result, Holmes will be unable to take part in the team’s rookie minicamp.
Although Holmes is wearing a walking boot, I doubt head coach Mike Smith is downplaying the severity of the injury. It’s ultimately just a precautionary measure.
