The Falcons have released linebacker Lofa Tatupu after his season-ending pectoral injury.
This move had to be done; the Falcons would’ve owed Tatupu an additional $750,000 had he remained on the roster.
It’s unfortunate for Tatupu after he tried to make a comeback after sitting out last year. The injury not only ends Tatupu’s season, but it could mean the end for his career as well.
