The Falcons will hold their fifth straight Friday Night Lights team scrimmage tonight at Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia (Address: 1555 Old Peachtree Road Northwest). The Falcons will take the field at 6:45 p.m. while the gates will open at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
According to head coach Mike Smith, there will be contact. Of course, quarterbacks are off-limits.
Smith also anticipates about six full-speed series. Points will be kept for the scrimmage, but points won’t be limited to just touchdowns. The offense will be able to net more points for consecutive first downs and drives inside the 25-yard line, while the defense will have the opportunity to gain points by forcing three-and-outs and turnovers.
