In an attempt to bolster the depth on the offensive line, the Atlanta Falcons signed tackle Jeremy Trueblood.
With how second-year player Lamar Holmes has performed in preseason, there’s a chance Trueblood could be inserted as the starting right tackle at some point during the season.
With that said, Trueblood isn’t exactly a great option. At times during his tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the tackle was a viable option at right tackle. As it stands now, he’s a turnstile as a pass protector.
Tackle Terren Jones was released and signed to the practice squad.
